An example would be the sound of breaking glass or playing a broken instrument. The use of this type of sounds is one of the most evident indicators of the difference between classical and avant-garde music. The lecture is a kind of introduction to selected issues of contemporary music, but it is not only a theoretical introduction. In the second part of the lecture, we start a joint performance of a specially prepared piece "Allegretto distruttivo". We find out how much musical satisfaction can come from creative spoiling and destruction. The premiere took place as part of the cycle of lectures at the Children's University in February 2020 in OlsztynTitle: Can you make music out of broken sounds?Lecturers: Jarek Kordaczuk and Izabela Kościesza // Wytwórnia Zddarzeń Sonokinetycznych* * *[Items]A3 or A4 paper for tearing and creasingfoil for piercing and creasingwooden slats for breakingpiercing rubbing balloonsscattering items (blocks)[Sensors]piano out of tunerickety violin, double bassstuck trumpet, flute[Group activities]1.
