Forever

I open slowly still burning eyes
and close them again as the sun is scoarching.
I try to grope myself in the bedding,
collect my arms, legs, broken thoughts
and swill out the disgust for that untouched night
with a bitter tea too sweet with you.

chorus

I'll be forever yours
You'll be forever mine
That's what you used to say till yesterday

Untill yesterday your every word
made me shiver with delight
Today I don't know what bursts my veins more
apart from the ocean till the last drop of spilled wine
your "I'm leaving" as unexpected as a sin?
or my "why?" repeated like a prayer?

chorus

You'll be forever mine
I'll be forever yours
Is it the end of forever?

You used to say "together forever". Remember?
So why the cluttering clock is still counting down this unwanted time ?
Insignificant all those days yet to come
hurting feet with broken glass,
I lift myself inertly feeling almost no pain
and look on the floor where the spot of wine is melting with
the blood flowing down my body

chorus

I'll be forever yours
You'll be forever mine
That's what you used to say till yesterday

I'll be forever yours
You'll be forever mine
but forever ended yesterday

Trace in Time

morning mist
I flow with a dewdrop down the leaf
Is the dawn rubbing day's eyes
It's us
me and I
one in streams of melting dreams
another lost her way here
and opens the world with me

(chorus)
the highness of the sky
the remoteness of the sun
and I for the asking
time's mysterious dizziness
accosting clear thoughts
it's the world and me
it's me and the world
leaving the trace in time

in the rain of words
thousands of soaked paths
and another ruts of human matters
me above them
I above me
like a bird looking for a dry land
to measure its own pace
we cross the wind of the verge

(chorus)
the highness of the sky
the remoteness of the sun
and I for the asking
time's mysterious dizziness
and thoughts try to be clear
I above the world
the world above me
it's the eternal trace in time

evening mist
I fall down the trees like a shadow
is the dusk closing the day's eyes
it's us
me and I
one in a fit of rippling dreams
another which is not here
as it went to close the world
and stop the trace in time
