Monoctone Vol. 2 // improvisation - Jarek Kordaczuk
Monoctone electronic instrument, another scene, sensors, pressure sensors, pressure sensors, force sensors, position sensors, electric motors, elektromagnest, electric bell. Process control sound through voltage control (CV - control voltage). Modular synthesizer controlled by monoctone. Improvised electronic music, design prototypes of electronic instruments. Controls sound waveforms electrical voltage changes. Synthesizer modules. Module differentiator, a selector control module monoctonem. Electronic music performed live, live electronics. Elements of robotics in the design of sound events. Synthesizer electromechanical. Electroacoustic experiment - experimental music. New music, contemporary music - improvised composition performed on a single instrument: monoctone. Experimental music performed on an unusual instrument. Experimental work - Monoctone Vol.2. Experimental sounds come almost exclusively from the electric motors and tone.

Monoctone Vol. 2 3-track improvisation for monoctone. Monoctone: Jarek Kordaczuk Commission: Poznań Music Spring Vol. 2 Monoctone Vol. 2 Monoctone Vol. 2 is the next phase of experimentation with a prototype instrument that is expressive CV (control voltage) controller of modular synthesizers. This time monoctone controls several small electric motors and one electric bell.  The bell and the engines are placed under glass and driven by a current controlled by monoctone - position sensor changes the engine rotation speed or the frequency of bell strokes. The sonic effect, or mechanical sound of the equipment is collected by contact microphones and returned to the modular synthesizer. Next, the sound is directed to the low-pass filters, which work under the control of monoctone force and pressure sensors. This configuration gives the extraordinary potential of expressive possibilities of machines. The work was commissioned as an improvisation by the Poznań Music Spring 2016. Constructor of the instrument is Jarek Kordaczuk, electronic work was done by Artur Grzybek (AGE). -------------------------Premiere:45.
