Ceramic Sound Structures // performative installation - Jarek Kordaczuk
Installation, exhibition, opening - vernissage concert. The interest of the audience in the unique character of the project, its uniqueness, is certainly the effect every artist goes to. This is the case with Ceramic Sound Structures. The undoubted value of a little educational measure will be to familiarize the audience with the trends of interdisciplinarity in contemporary art - activities that are exceptionally low in our region. The authors do not exclude the possibility of interactive interaction with the audience in the \"revitalization\" of ceramic objects, which would extend the impact of the project on the sociological value (which undoubtedly is the joint discovery of art). Technical requirements: Stereo sound system Input lines: 1ch vocal, 1ch monoctone, 4ch computer interface X2 monitor monitors Lighting of ceramic objects and 2 artists Support for the installation of ceramic objects (hanging on ropes)

The traditional way to experience ceramic works is to watch and touch them. The authors of Ceramic Sound Structures expand this range of experience to listening. Yes, recipients can hear ceramics. Confront the reaction of the ear with the other senses. Experience the process of playing in time in the reception of visual arts. The shape of ceramic objects is correlated with their specific acoustic properties ... Ceramic objects placed in space are stimulated to vibrations by means of various, specially selected electric motors and solenoids. Vibrating objects make air waves - according to the principle of acoustics. So we hear their inherent sounds. However, we did not stop at the discovery of their sound qualities. By controlling motors with the appropriate interface (monoctone), combining the sounds of objects with electronic sounds and voice, a piece of music is made, which musical form causes the previously mentioned temporary experience of an artistic work. It's a bit like the pictures in the portrait gallery suddenly started to talk. The project is unique, experimental and intermedial. I close my eyes

A [0:02]

A1 [1:22]
I close my eyes, let the wind carry me
It pervades me with a quiet murmur
Night is once gray, once black
As if the moon did not know whether to get out from behind the clouds
Or to hide in them until the morning
Water from the stream sings quietly
To break up with stones for a moment
And I'm still swimming with the wind
I disappear in his embrace
I can hear only the quiet beating of my heart and my breath

B [2:40]
I cover my ears
A loud fuss of birds permeates me through
My cry follows the clamor

C [4:00]
I ball the body
Till it hurts
Until missed silence comes

D [6:02] (chaotically repeated words)
The rain rips me from a shallow dream
The rustle of the leaves echoes in my body
It swirls in the stomach wanting to get outside
I exhale them with the air

D1 [7:38] (repeated whole phrase)
I close my eyes, let the wind carry me
It pervades me with a quiet murmur
Night is once gray, once black

E [8:48]
Until I'm completely empty inside

F [9:57]
Until I'm completely empty inside

G [11:15]
I straighten and breathe deeply
Only familiar sounds around
[: I straighten and breathe deeply :]

H [11:59]

And [12:15]
I catch my breath
I stretch out my hands

I1 [13:18]
The wind lifts me over the world
It pervades me with a quiet murmur
I am safe
